Book is only a month away
Hurray, after months in the planning, and chopping and changing subjects, I'm almost done with another book. This time though with my name on print. You see times have changed, and in business you need move with the market.
Whilst putting myself on the frontline and out of my comfort zone, people are more than ever looking to engage and connect with people rather than buy from faceless corporates. Thats why social media has become so successful but also social media has compounded the need. Now for businesses and certainly people like me, that can be quite tough. As a natural introvert slapping my name and photo on some of my products just feels wrong. And engaging with people I know is hard enough, let alone with strangers...lol.funny as I've been presenting and facilitating workshops and mastermind classes for years. But I've been somewhat hidden behind the curtain.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to hide behind products and services. Whether it be my comfort blanket or the fact I make a healthy income that way and don't want to fix what's not broken.
Either way, adding my personal brand... Lol... That makes me think of an episode of the Apprentice... Either way, adding my personal brand to some of my products is an experiment, but also a must in today's changing times. So there you have it, you will soon see me all over the place. Look out for YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter, and regular blog posts, not too mention product launches with yours truly on the cover.
Ok,ok so back to the big news, I have a new book coming out. It will be as tactical as possible and limit the strategy. The book is for any small business who struggles with sales/marketing action points. If you do the same thing over and over, with the same results this is for you. I have compiled a 52 step plan for you to apply one a week. If you do them, you are certain to get to six figures within 12 months. The good thing is many of the points are really simple to implement and free.
The idea came about from observing my inner circle groups (I run two). When I'm mentoring and coaching I often see my members struggle to cope with the big picture initially. The strategy consumes some people, whilst others thrive on it. Some like small steps and Actions they can choose to do but in their own time. And each action needs to have a reward ie a closer step to a sale. So after surveying over 2000 people out the 'expert' industry (coaches, consultants, speakers, therapists etc) I found there too was a huge need for smaller tactical steps and there he book was defined.
I'll be coming back to you for help on the title and cover image.
Idea so far is "52 steps to six figures".
