Cpanel is a must for Wordpress installation. You can of course do without both word-press and Cpanel, but if you ever want to install word-press, then Cpanel makes it a breeze.. trust me ive tried them all. Service; well what can I say. Not only is therei text chat support excellent, of the 5 years I've used them Ive only noticed the service down once. As I have over 300 domains, this is important to me.

1&1.com is a giant web hosting company. and they have never let me down. They have almost 6 million customers and more than 2,400 employees, and in excess of 37,000 servers. Whilst not the cheapest, they are definitely an industry leader and a well supported and stable company in the web hosting industry. 1&1 offers a few main service types: domain registration, mail hosting, Linux hosting, Windows hosting, virtual private servers, dedicated servers, eshops, and Microsoft Sharepoint hosting. Having said not the cheapest, the company’s offerings are still quite inexpensive. There control panel and email set up is much easier than host gators, but word-press install is a pain in the ass.
